Dust off those walking boots and take some time for reflection and a sense of tranquillity….

CAFOD is organising a pilgrimage that treks the last 100 miles of a Spanish pilgrim route to the city of Santiago de Compostela, Galicia; where the apostle Saint James the Great is said to be laid to rest.

As a sponsored initiative people are asked to raise £500 for their efforts to go towards helping CAFOD's work.

There is a maximum of 22 places on the trip taking place on the 2nd -12th of September.

All pilgrims must be 18+, so it may be something which young adults are interested in, or YOU!

Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis providing applicants show serious consideration, and the application deadline is 1 July 2010.

All abilities are welcome; you don’t have to be super-fit, just enthusiastic!

More info and an application pack available from: http://www.cafod.org.uk/sponsored-events/santiago-de-compostela
