This is an ecumenical event which look really cool. Where I live in Sussex people have been banging on about it for ages.

It's called the Big Church Day Out and it's basically a huge festival with live music and looooooads of other stuff too.

The Website has all the info you need.

Here is the blurb copied from the Facebook event:

---

Stanford Hall, near Loughborough - Saturday 29th May 2010
Wiston House, West Sussex - Sunday 30th & Bank Holiday Monday 31st May 2010

TheBigChurchDayOut is an exciting annual event first held in 2009 in the beautiful grounds of Wiston House in West Sussex - the perfect backdrop for a perfect family day out.

What a day it was: on a beautiful sun-soaked Sunday in May there were 15,000 people drawn together in the most amazing celebration of all that is good. We worshipped, we danced, we jumped, and topped up our inspiration. But most of all, we were all together as one huge family - this was our BigChurchDayOut.

And next year, we'll do it again. But it'll be bigger, wider, bolder and even better.

BigChurchDayOut is back for 2010, with a lineup that already includes Hillsong United, Toby Mac (DC Talk), Israel Houghton, Tim Hughes (Worship Central), Brenton Brown, Graham Kendrick, Lou Fellingham, Tom & Olly, LZ7 and The Kings Chamber Orchestra. It promises to be an incredible day as people of all ages and church backgrounds gather together again to celebrate the faith that's bigger than all of us.

The really big news right now is that BigChurchDayOut is expanding in 2010. We're adding a second venue in the Midlands at Stanford Hall, a beautiful country estate just minutes from junction 24 on the M1. We're also excited to announce that we are going to take in a second day at Wiston House, making it a total of three days of incredible celebration.

BigChurchDayOut will touch down at its new home at Stanford Hall on Saturday 29th May. Then we'll head south to Wiston House for more Big Church fun on Sunday 30th and Bank Holiday Monday 31st May. All this means you have a greater choice over where and when you prefer to join us. The same programme with all the same performers, worship leaders and fun, will run on each of the three days.

There are loads of great features coming in 2010, including completely new traffic systems at Wiston, tons of additional food concessions and a stack of new, fun activities for all the family.

Tickets are on sale now at www.bigchurchdayout.com

Please remember that although there's extra capacity in 2010, BigChurchDayOut could still sell out. We strongly recommend that you buy early to avoid disappointment!
