This is a new thing, I'm trying.

I am planning to put together a load of short prayers on PowerPoint. This is mainly for chaplains (Classroom prayer stuff) but I guess it could be useful for anyone.

Anyway, click here http://forum.catholicyouthwork.com/index.php?action=prayerresources;sa=shortppt

Let me know what you reckon...

I think these powerpoints are brilliant! Simple and easy to use. It's inspired me to create some of my own (or something similar)

Can I just ask... Do we have permission to use the pics? what site did you get them from? Am just worried and slightly confused about copyright laws.

But good job!!!

They are all my own pictures, so copyright is fine.

I would like to put together a document on using photos for the resources section of the site. It can be a tricky area. The best thing to do if you are after pictures is to sign up for one of these picture websites. If you pay the membership fee (which isn't extortionate) you can use their pictures at will. Or some of them you have to pay per photo. Getty Images is a good one.

Or you could go to Creative Commons (http://creativecommons.org/) and do a search for material that people have agreed to let other people use for free (sometimes there are stipulations, such as: you must credit it, you can use it but not modify it). It's a pretty interesting resource.
